ATOSS API

ATOSS in your resource planning – not as an HR system that operates separately from scheduling.

Connecting ATOSS – Custom and Seamless

ATOSS is a leading provider of workforce management solutions in the German-speaking region. The software covers time management, personnel scheduling, demand forecasting, and absence management – and is used in many mid-market and large companies, particularly where shift work, flexible hours, or complex planning scenarios define operations. For operationally complex companies, ATOSS is relevant because personnel deployment is not an isolated HR topic – it is directly linked to project planning, scheduling, utilization, and capacity management. We integrate ATOSS into custom enterprise software. No pre-made standard connections, no limited plug-ins – just a tailored integration that perfectly fits your processes and your system.

What We Connect

Integration Opportunities
🔄Automatically synchronize working hours, shift plans, and attendance data into the central system
📊Represent personnel availability, overtime, and absences in cross-organizational reporting
📄Automatically transfer demand reports from projects or orders into personnel scheduling
Event-driven workflows – e.g., automatically adjust scheduling upon sick leave, inform supervisors at overtime thresholds
🔗Bidirectional data exchange between ATOSS, ERP, project management, scheduling, and other systems

How the Integration Works

We work directly with the ATOSS interfaces – REST API, data exports, or database-based connections, depending on the ATOSS version and configuration in use. The connection is developed as an integral part of your operating system – no third-party middleware, no workarounds. Here’s what that concretely means:

🏗️Custom connection – built for your processes, not for the average
🔄Automatic data flow – no manual exports or reconciliations between HR and operations
🗄️A single data foundation – ATOSS data flows into your central system
🛡️Secure and GDPR-compliant – sensitive personnel data is encrypted, with authorization logic, and documented

Typical Use Case

A technical service provider with 120 employees in shift work plans personnel deployment in ATOSS. Shift plans, sick leave, and overtime accounts are managed there – but the scheduling of customer deployments occurs in another system. If two technicians call in sick in the morning, the scheduling team finds out only through a phone call. Who has what qualifications for which job is either in the dispatcher’s mind or in an Excel matrix. Through integration, availability data from ATOSS flows in real-time into the operating system. The scheduling team sees who is truly available, what qualifications they bring, and which jobs are already assigned. If an employee reports sick, the system automatically updates the scheduling and suggests alternatives. Demand reports from new orders flow back into personnel planning. Shift scheduling and dispatching work with the same data, in real-time, without phone ping-pong.

Part of Your Operating System

ATOSS is a powerful platform for workforce management – particularly strong in time management, shift planning, and demand forecasting. However, when used in isolation, it remains an HR system, separated from operational reality. Only as part of an integrated system does ATOSS unleash its full potential – when workforce data flows directly into planning, absences automatically trigger follow-up processes, and personnel planning runs alongside operations, not apart from it. We develop AI-powered operating systems for operationally complex companies. The ATOSS integration is one key component of that.
