Rapidmail API

Rapidmail in your customer process – not just as a mailing tool with manually exported recipient lists.

Connecting Rapidmail – Custom and Seamless

Rapidmail is a German email marketing platform widely used in the mid-market and by GDPR-sensitive companies. Businesses use Rapidmail to send newsletters, manage recipient lists, and evaluate campaigns. For operationally complex companies, Rapidmail becomes relevant when recipient data should not be managed manually, dispatch times should not be manually controlled, and campaign results should not be considered in isolation from the rest of the company. We integrate Rapidmail into custom business software. No ready-made standard connection, no plug-in with limitations – just a tailored integration that fits exactly with your processes and your system.

What We Connect

Integration Capability
🔄Automatically synchronize recipient lists from the central system – new contacts, unsubscribes, segments
📊Import campaign results – open rates, clicks, bounces – into central reporting
📄Automatically trigger newsletter dispatch – e.g., upon status change, event, or timing
Event-driven workflows – e.g., unsubscribe updates contact status in CRM, click triggers sales task
🔗Bidirectional data exchange between Rapidmail, CRM, customer database, and other systems

How the Integration Works

We work directly with the Rapidmail REST API v3. The connection is developed as an integral part of your Operating System – no third-party middleware, no workaround. What this specifically means:

🏗️Custom connection – built for your processes, not for the average
🔄Automatic data flow – no manual CSV exports or list reconciliations
🗄️A single data foundation – Rapidmail data flows into your central system
🛡️Secure and GDPR-compliant – German hosting, double opt-in logic, and documented

Typical Use Case

A trading company with 2,500 business customers sends newsletters monthly via Rapidmail. Previously, someone would export the customer list from the ERP, clean it up in Excel, and upload it to Rapidmail. Active customers and those who have unsubscribed were not taken into account. After sending, open rates land in Rapidmail, but no one ties them to revenue data. Whether the newsletter is effective remains a gut feeling. With the integration, the Operating System automatically synchronizes recipient data. New customers are added, inactive ones are segmented, and unsubscribes are recorded back to the CRM. Campaigns can be triggered automatically – a welcome newsletter upon new customer setup, a reactivation email after 90 days without an order. Results flow back in: which customer clicked, which campaign correlates with revenue increase. Marketing works with real data – and the company understands what its newsletters actually achieve.

Part of Your Operating System

Rapidmail is a solid, GDPR-compliant tool for email marketing – particularly attractive for companies that value German hosting and ease of use. However, when used in isolation, it remains a mailing tool with manually maintained lists and results that are not connected to the rest of the company. Only as part of an integrated system does Rapidmail realize its full value – when recipient data remains automatically current, campaigns are triggered by events, and results flow back into a central truth. We develop AI-powered Operating Systems for operationally complex companies. The Rapidmail integration is one component of that.
